Extent of Human Radio Broadcasts
Humans have been broadcasting radio for around 100 years. This means that the earliest broadcasts have traveled in space approximately 100 light years. The Milky Way is approximately 100,000 lightyears in diameter. Hence, the ‘bubble’ of space filled with human radio signals is only around a thousandth the diameter of the galaxy - shown by the little blue dot in the expanded portion of the above image. (Source)
